The fire within me
Burns at a low flame
I keep it there
For safe shelter
The heat provides my soul warmth
Its light illuminates my journey
Though I walk around looking for something
To extinguish
I am distinguished
Every one senses this heat
Attempts to beat
Steal
Defeat
Extend to treat
Excite or
Dull
My influence
To electrify
Multiply
My fire extends
To those in need
Dissolving tears
At times suffocating
from our steam
blazing fears
Watching it all fade
Bringing you to tears
Of joy and release
I walk around with this fire
Some that surround benefit from
Its light, heat and power
Others have turned to ash
Though I have burned myself from its force
Flames do not coerce
